In the process of my growing up, there have been many things, the most unforgettable thing for me is that I feed chickens.
I remember that when I was in the second grade of primary school, one day I was at the school gate after school, surrounded by a group of people. I went curiously to see what was going on. I squeezed in and saw that it was a rural old woman who was carrying a basket of colored chickens for sale.
There are many people who buy chickens. Some of them choose beautiful chickens, some choose happy ones, and some choose big ones. Suddenly I found a chicken with its head down listlessly, still shaking. I think it must be a sick chicken.
Watching many students walk back happily with the chicken they bought, I have an impulse to buy a chicken to take back, but when I touch the only one yuan in my pocket and prepare to buy small food, I hesitate. I turned to walk back, but I thought of the sick chicken just now. I think: will that chicken be bought by classmates? Will it die? Or is it abandoned by grandma who sells chicken? I think it's hard to be sad here. I'm determined to help it. I want to protect it. I want to make it better. So I took out the one yuan and handed it to grandma. Granny handed me a beautiful and cheerful green chicken. I said to grandma, "I don't want this one. I want the yellow chicken with its head down and shaking." The old lady looked at me strangely, shook her head and reluctantly handed me the chicken. I went home with the little yellow chicken in my arms.
Back home, I was eager to feed him water and food, but he didn't care. Still shivering. After a while, my mother came back. Seeing the chicken, she said, "how did you buy a sick chicken?" I said, "it's because it's sick, I'm afraid no one will take care of it and die, so I bought it back. I want to take care of it, I want to make it live." Mother looked at the stubborn and lovely me, smiled and said: "you are really a kind child. But you can't even take care of yourself. How can you take care of chickens? Then he shook his head and went to his own business. I found a shoe box, put the chicken in it, found a small pillow to cover it, and I put it beside my bed when I sleep at night. I get up from time to time to see it. I saw that it was shaking all the time, so I wrapped it in a pillow towel and held it in my arms and covered it with a quilt, so I held it like a sleepless night.
The next morning, I found that it no longer trembled, seemed to have some spirit, but also looked up at me, as if to say hello to me, thank you, I put it in the shoe box, get up to wash, a moment my mother came up and suddenly cried: "you see what's on your pajamas?" When I looked down at the chicken excrement, I immediately wiped it with toilet paper. My mother said angrily, "don't wipe it. It's dirty. Take it off and wash it!"! Let's get rid of the chicken today! " I cried bitterly and said, "no! The chickens are getting better. I'm not throwing them! " Mom can't help it. Turn around and go.
In this way, under my insistence and my careful care, the chickens are getting better day by day, growing day by day, and I will take care of myself more and more. Under my infection, my mother and I will take care of the chickens together. Later, the chicken finally grew into a little hen, and I grew up day by day. My mother said that I grew up with the chicken.
