In the north of China, there is the capital city---Beijing. I was born there- a small town at the foot of Xiangshan Mountain.Today, let me tell you something about my hometown. More than twenty yeas ago, my hometown was just small and poor. The road was narrow. People there had a hard life.
Great changes have taken place. People here have found a lot of ways of making money. Now there are many tall and beautiful buidings everywhere. Roads are wider and much cleaner. There are a lot of trees and grass on the roadsides.They make people happy and comfortable. The transportantion is very convenient and fast. People can take buses, subways or drive their own cars to go to work. Most people have cell phones and personal computers. People can buy things from Shopping malls, supermarkets and department stores. The price is low and the quality is good. People’s living conditions have improved a lot . Thanks to the government's efforts . my hometown is becoming more and more beautiful.
