　　这个故事讲述了美国的盲聋女作家、教育家海伦。凯勒的一声坎坷。在海伦一岁半时，一场飞来横祸使她丧失了人的本能，从此，小海伦与有声有色的世界隔绝了，但她没有向命运而屈服。在老师的精心指导下，她学会了用手指“说话”，并且还掌握了五种文字。24岁时的她又以优异的成绩毕业于是著名的哈佛大学得克利好学院……从那以后，她把所有的精力都投到了世界盲人，还获得许多政府以及高等学院的赞扬和嘉奖。

　　海伦的一生是不平凡的，她给予人们极大的鼓舞，使那些虚度光阴的人万分悔恨。记得海伦曾提出这样一来的问题：“假如你的眼睛明天将要失明，你今天要看什么?”这使我懂得一个道理：我们健康人，不能迟疑，不能虚度光阴，应该珍惜这美好的时光，珍惜这美好的生活。

　　读了《海伦凯勒传》，我被主人公海伦凯勒的精神所感动。她是美国著名的残疾人社会活动家。她在阿拉巴州出生后的第二十个月，一场疾病夺走了她的视力和听力，使她的一生处在黑暗与无声的世界里。她凭着自己的毅力和坚强不屈的精神，终于战胜了自我，走出了无声世界，用笔架起了与他人交流的桥梁。

我觉得海伦凯勒真是太了不起了，如果换了别人，也许会去自杀，也许会依赖父母过一辈子，可她却不一样，一个人坚强地走了下去，不但学会了五种语言，而且还成为了著名的作家。她为什么能做到那样？答案就是坚强!

记得有一次，姐姐教我认“角”。刚开始，我觉得特别新鲜，可后来要认的角多了，就搞不清了，就说：“不学了!” 姐姐说：“你应该怎么可遇到挫折就不学呢？”可那时的我，哪听得进去，说什么也不愿学，还搪塞说以后老师会教的，等我再长大些，学起来也就不这么难了。姐姐看我这样，也就懒得理我，学角就这样半途而废了。现在想想我也真是，海伦凯勒残疾了还能学习，为什么我不行呢？如果我当时能坚持下去，那该多好呀！

海伦凯勒已成了我心目中的偶像，在今后的人生道路上，我要像她一样，轻视困难，做个真正的强者!
