⑦原来是牛大伯家那个腿有残疾的女儿牛荷花获得了省高考状元,牛荷花是十八年前牛大伯从县医院给他六岁的瞎儿子牛有田看病时捡的,那时牛荷花刚出生不久,又发着高烧,小脸都烧得发紫,好像得了什么重病,被父母抛弃在县医院的垃圾箱旁,牛大伯如获至宝。后来,在牛大伯的精心照料下,牛荷花居然活了下来,只是腿落下了残疾,走路一瘸一拐的,可这孩子就是脑子灵,又肯学习,可没人能想到她竟然获得了省高考状元。这不,连省著名主持人田甜小姐都来采访了。

有人珍藏衬衫,有人珍藏照片,有人珍藏邮票,而我珍藏的却是一张写有温馨批语的试卷。一看到它,我就想起了那治学有方的张老师。
记得那是上七年级时的第一次语文考试,本来基础就差的我考得一团糟。可以说当时我对分数已没有什么感觉,考不好无非是得到老师的一通训斥再罚抄几遍而已。习以为常也就见怪不怪了。发考卷时我像往常一样等待着老师的“电闪雷鸣”,可奇怪的是张老师并没有像其他老师一样从高到低念分数,念到不及格的同学还故意多停留几秒钟,好让你意识到自己考得有多么差;她只是轻描淡写地表扬了几个考得好的同学,然后没念分数就把考卷发到了我们手里。
打开试卷,让我惊奇的是从头至尾竟找不到一个“×”,全是对号,只是在分数那一栏赫然写着59分。仔细一瞧,发现有一些题旁边没有打对号,当然也没有打“×”,这让我感到浑身不自在起来。翻到卷末,发现老师留了几行字: ××同学,你的书写很工整,批阅你的试卷简直是一种享受。不知道你发现没有,你的头脑是很灵活的,只要你把大部分精力都用在学习上,老师相信,今天的59分将会变成明天的95分。

过了一天,我又去看它。它依然不肯喝牛奶。于是我拿起牛奶对它说:“没事的,小狗狗,乖,我不会害你的。不信,我喝给你看。”小狗很认真地盯着我喝牛奶的样子,还不停地用两只前脚在地上刨着。过了好一会儿,它才怯生生地走过去喝牛奶。觉得没事后,才津津有味地喝了起来。看着它可爱的样子,我欣慰地笑了。
看见它终于肯吃东西了,我和爸爸决定给它做一个“家”。我们用棉布和竹篮给它做了一
个安稳的“家”,还在里面放上了玩具。我还给它取了一个非常好听的名字“沙沙”。渐渐地,我和沙沙结下了深厚的感情,我们也淡忘了它腿上的伤。
一天晚上,我忽然听见沙沙痛苦的呻吟。我急忙起床去看,才发现它的伤口由于没有及时处理,感染化脓了。我急忙叫醒爸爸妈妈,把沙沙送到了宠物医院。

那是星期一的早晨,我匆匆地去洗涮饭盒。要知道,时间就是生命~赢得时间就能提前完成作业,有更多的时间看看书。教室里还有一大堆作业在等着我赶去与它们“约会”呢。可今天也不知怎么了,水池边的人比平日里不知多了多少倍。难道布置作业都是全校统一的吗,我开始烦躁起来,怒火也一点一点地升了起来,整个人成了一座一触即发的火山。终于按捺不住心中的那份焦急,我找起了空子,准备往里钻。过五关斩六将,历经千辛万苦,我总算挤到了水池边,心中长吁一口气——马上就可以摆脱这非人的折磨了。顾不上得意,更无暇考虑身后那挤作一团粥的人群,我开始了洗涮。三下五除二,大功告成~转身……只觉身体往左一歪,一脚踏进了池前的污水中,左手也按到了水池里,更可恶的是脸上被溅上了脏兮兮的油水,我成了不折不扣的落汤鸡~

怒火冲上头顶,我立马回头寻找那可恶的“肇事者”,是一个初一年级的小男孩。
我狠狠地瞪着他,真恨不得把他大骂一顿,可我怕违反纪律,没敢大吼,就那样凶凶地盯着他。也许是我的样子有点吓人吧,那个小男孩竟有些不知所措了,两只手紧紧抱住饭盒,怯怯地瞅着我。见我不作声,他知道大事不妙了,结结巴巴地说:“对……对不起,我……我不……我不是故意的。”说着眼里泛起了点点泪花,亮晶晶的。
突然,我好像从这点亮光里看到了我自己。
那是我刚入学时,也是在水池旁,碰到了一个三年级的大姐姐。那个大姐姐比我现在还惨,那身漂亮的衣服被池中的污水染成了大花脸。我吓坏了,一时间连句对不起的话也忘了说,只是愣愣地站着,等着挨一顿披头盖脸的的臭骂。可她并没有骂我,而是冲我笑笑,问我有没有磕到。那一刻,我是多么感激那个大姐姐呀,甚至还觉得能生活在这样一个学校真幸福。

2008年5月12日 下午2:28,我和其他同学如平常一样,坐在教室上课。

Last summer holiday, my mother, brother and I t to Yunnan for a sight-seeing trip. It was a fantastic journey which I have never had before. In a morning, we decided to visit the Tiger Leaping Gorge, the world-famous scenery. Unfortunately, we were told that two sections of the highway which led to the scenic spot were severely destroyed by the landslides. But my brother persuaded us to walk to the destination.
We were acpanied by 3 other travelers on this unforgettable journey. It shocked me step back when I saw the width of the trail which only could acmodate a foot. Beside the trail was the Great Canyon. I braced myself up and tried to overe my fear. I constantly said to myself, “Don’t look down. Don’t look down. Everything will be fine.” I took a great care on every step and t forward slowly. I was worried
the dirt was probably not hard enough or slippery, especially in the corner. I was relieved when I passed. I ran to the safe road quickly as if a terrible ogre stood behind me.
We moved forward. After 3 hours’ walking, we arrived at another collapse which was full of riprap. Luckily, the rock was tremendous and firm. We could climb along the rocks through the collapse. I thought that intelligence and climbing skills were needed because you should choose a suitable climbing route. With the help of a warm-hearted driver, I overcame this obstacle much easily.

“文”字的甲骨文字绘画的像一个正面的“大人”,寓意“大象有形”、“象形”;特别放大了胸部,并在胸部画了“心”,含义是“外界客体在心里面的整体影像、整体写真、整体素描、整体速写”。

El Nino
El Nino means "little boy" in Spanish; when capitalized, it refers to the Christ child. This innocent-sounding name originated in the 19th century, when Peruvian sailors noticed that every few years around Christmastime, waters near the coasts warmed up and the current shifted southward. But this "little boy" plays havoc around the globe.
El Nino occurs when weather patterns in the tropical Pacific shift violently. Normally, strong westward-blowing trade winds off South America push surface water toward Asia. Just as blowing on hot coffee pushes the liquid up against the opposite side of the cup, the trade winds pile warm water against the coastlines of Australia, Indonesia and the Philippines. Above the warm water, moist air rises, lowering atmospheric pressure and triggering the tropical showers that nourish the rain forests of Asia. Meanwhile high-altitude winds travel back toward South America. There, the cooled air sinks, raising atmospheric pressure and suppressing rain along most of the Pacific coast, making it one of the driest regions in the world.
But with El Nino, the pattern reverses. Atmospheric pressure in the Western Pacific rises, setting the stage for drought from Australia to India. The trade winds decrease, or in extreme years reverse to blow eastward. As a result, a huge mass of warm water flows back toward South America, causing storms from Chile to California. Meanwhile, over the Pacific, ten-mile-high storm clouds further heat the atmosphere, fueling a stronger-than-normal jet stream, which often splits in two. One branch moves north, warming the Pacific Northwest, central Canada and Alaska. Another branch surges south, producing heavy rains in the U.S. Gulf States and Southwest.
El Nino's vast impact on humans has often been catastrophic. The El Nino of 1982-83 inflicted $13 billion in damage and claimed some 2,000 lives. In Australia day turned to night when a dust storm blanketed Melbourne; brush fires raged in its wake. In place of its normal monsoon, Southern India got dried-up crops and the threat of mass starvation. At the same time, violent rainstorms devastated the Western Hemisphere: Peru's fishing industry — once one of the richest in the world
— was wiped out, and seaside towns were washed into the Pacific.
Is there a good side to El Nino? There can be. Zebiak notes that the number of tropical hurricanes in the Atlantic is reduced during an El Nino year. One theory is that winds created by El Nino shear off the tops of Atlantic hurricanes, aborting them before they reach full force. And a team of scientists in Israel who study tree rings and satellite cloud pictures concluded that El Nino may bring precious moisture to the thirsty Middle East. A new study even shows the EI Nino deserves credit for encouraging plant growth and helping to control pollutant to global warming.

Studying Abroad
With the improved living standard and China more open to the world, more and more young people choose to pursue their higher education in foreign countries, such as America, Britain or Australia. The main benefit of studying abroad is academic one. Obviously in western colleges and universities, the laboratories are more sophisticated, and book resources more up-to-date. More importantly, they have first-rate professors who are aware of all the latest developments in their respective fields. Hence the standard of teaching is much higher. Besides academic benefits, there are other advantages. For example, exposure to foreign culture and contact with students from different countries and different backgrounds will broaden their mind and make them more tolerant. Living alone in the foreign land will also offer greater opportunity to develop their independence, their personalities and many other interpersonal skills.
Despite these obvious advantages, we should not overlook negative effects. For example, the overseas students may experience loneliness and homesickness, an experience so overwhelming that many could not endure it. Though overseas study has its drawbacks, the advantages are obvious. Provided that it is financially feasible, an oversea education may do a person more good than harm.(谨慎的肯定态度)

Will Phones Kill Letter Writing?
According to a recent survey made by the China Daily, about 200 million Chinese are using phones as their daily munications means instead of writing letters. So some people say that phones will kill letter writing. But I don’t think so.
My argument that phones will not kill letter writing lies in at least three aspects. First, letter writing as a traditional way of munication still has some advantages over phones. For example, if people want to express something confidential to their close friends, they will turn to letter writing. Another example is that rural workers who are working far away from their hometown are more likely to write letters to their families than to make phone calls for the purpose of saving money. Second, letter writing is more authoritative and formal in some way. For instance, people who are doing business will write formal business letters to do a deal; people who want to remend or introduce someone to someone else will write letter of remendation or letter of introduction, etc. Last but not least, letter writing is still regarded as a token of friendship among friends. People always write letters to show their everlasting love and affection.
All in all, letter writing is still very popular among people. It is still a good way for people to municate with each other and it is impossible to be killed by phones.

Easy Ways to Avoid an Argument
It's natural to take offense if someone is rude. You may think, what a jerk! But blurting out how you feel will only make matters worse. Dealing with difficult people is a part of everyday life, and there are ways you can stand up for yourself without starting an argument. I call these techniques " Tongue Fu!"
Handle arguments with humor. All of us tend to lose our temper. If you
find yourself in a difficult situation, try having fun with it.
As an IRS worker explained to me, " Almost everyone who es in here is hostile. Instead of taking offense, we've posted bulletin boards with ic strips that poke fun at the IRS, which we jokingly call the Ine Removal Service. When taxpayers see these, their attitudes change for the better."
When people plain, don't explain. The phone rings at work. You pick
up and the caller launches into a plaint: "I asked for a catalogue three weeks ago and I still don't have it! What kind of business are you running, anyway?"
Don't bother explaining that half the staff is out with the flu. Well-intentioned though they may be, such explanations usually add to the plainer's anger because they e across as excuses. Avoid explaining in detail what t wrong. Instead, agree, apologize and then move on to what can be done about it. Simply say: "You're right. I'm sorry you haven't received it yet. If I can have your name and address again, I'll personally put it in the mail to you today."
Agree to disagree. A man I know said he and his wife t to her parents' house for dinner one night. "While we were eating," he recalled, "I mentioned

that the highway construction was stalled again. My father-in-law said he was glad. 'That highway never should've been built! It's destroying an important historical valley.'
"Well, I spend over an hour each way muting to work. I told him I thought the highway was a necessary evil because there are four times as many cars as there were ten years ago, on the same number of road. My wife's dad grumbled that it was typical of my selfish generation to think more about our muting time than a significant archeological site.
"I lost my patience and said, 'You can't stop progress.' That did it. My father-in-law stood up and walked away, saying, 'I don't have to sit here and listen to this at my own dinner table.'
"I wish the whole thing had never happened. If I had been alert to his feelings about the matter, I could have prevented the whole unfortunate incident by saying, 'Let's agree to disagree about this,' and politely directing the conversation to something else."
One effective way to avoid an argument is to say, "We're both right!" and move on to a safer topic. For example, you and your wife disagree about how to discipline your teenager, and your discussion is turning into an argument. Just because you aren't seeing eye to eye doesn't mean you're enemies. Saying "Hey, we both want the same thing" can get you out of the quarrelsome mode and get you working together again.
No matter what the situation, augments are a waste or, at best, a misuse of time. By avoiding meaningless arguments, everybody wins.

那是小学的某个冬天,我还清晰记得我和她是形影不离的好朋友,我们两人的家隔得不远,因此我们总是结伴去上学放学。那天,当学校的放学铃声照常响起时,我和她便收拾好书包一同离开学校。一路上,朋友一直低着头玩她的手机,而我只是欣赏着路边的花花草草,偶尔放肆地折下几朵含苞欲放的花骨朵儿,完全没有在意朋友。当我再一次回头看她时,并没有瞅见她,只见得一滩小水花。我似乎听见朋友在哪里呼喊着什么,当我看到眼前这个场景是吓了一跳,原来朋友光顾着玩手机,一不小心踩空了,失足落下了旁边的小水沟里。我连忙喊来大人把她抱上来,并一齐把她送回了家。她一路上都是啜泣的,但我看到她平安回到了家,于是自己便也走了回去。
令我玩玩,没有想到的是:大约晚上七八点时,朋友的妈妈愤愤的带着她来到我家,并大声嚷嚷让我们出去说个明白。我和爸爸走出去时,看到朋友正低着头站在阿姨旁边。朋友突然指着我说道:“她??她推着我摔下去的,我被她推得站不稳,才摔到水沟里的??”我当时正想辩护,但爸爸二话不说便给了我一记耳光,打得我的耳边嗡嗡作响。我并没有想到我的好朋友为了自己因玩手机不被骂,所以把责任全都推卸到我的身上。
我的迅速肿了起来。院子里爸爸和阿姨正在谈论,而朋友也站在旁边说理,我感觉自己有莫大的冤屈,委屈和伤心的泪水顿时喷涌而出。我当初是多么的信任她,而她却为了自己的利益而不讲诚信,背叛了自己的朋友。就在那一天,她没有因玩手机而被骂,但她失去了人生中最宝贵的东西——诚信;也就在那一天,我被爸爸罚了一个多小时,但我也懂得了朋友的人格。打那天起,我和她从未在有过任何来往。
